Liku handmade batik fabric - cotton spun

Get this Liku handmade fabric for yourself or as a gift to someone! Made from cotton fabric, this is an unsewn fabric that you can turn into anything such as shirts, sarung or baju kurung. This fabric is designed by batikTEKTURA and depicts the topographical map of Bukit Larut, Perak, a place that is closed to the hearts of the two co-founders of batikTEKTURA.

Fabric type: Cotton spun (this type of cotton has a smoother and softer texture. It is usually used for clothing items requiring less structure and firmness).

Length: 2 metres

Width: 1.1 metres or 43 inches

Note to customers from batikTEKTURA: It is rather difficult to show the difference between cotton poplin and cotton spun visually on a website as the differences are in the firmness and texture of the materials. We use cotton spun for clothing items requiring less structured appearance such as women's blouses, a full set of baju kurung asli or pareos. We use cotton poplin for clothing items requiring more structured and firm appearance such as men's shirts, batik jackets and cardigans. Both are comfortable materials and versatile. It all depends on how you will use the materials.
