Handwoven with traditional weaving techniques using polymer box straps and bemban natural fibres, these tote baskets are extra durable and water-resistant. The patterns are seamless all around, a mark of the exquisite craftsmanship involved in crafting each piece.Â
Currently, only 5 artisans who are masters of this style of weaving remain in the longhouse community where these distinctive bags are made, taking them up to 3-4 days to weave each tote.Â
